HOW IT WORKS

• Peptides that attenuate muscle contraction belong to the class of neuromodulators – peptide Argireline (INCI: Acetyl Hexapeptide-3)
• It is aimed at combating expression lines
• The six amino acids of argireline repeat a region of the SNAP25 protein required for the binding of the synaptic vesicle of the axon to the presynaptic membrane
• In the axon, argireline competes with the SNAP25 protein and instead integrates into the temporary SNARE protein complex
• This means that the muscle does not receive a signal to contract and continues to be in a relaxed state providing that Botox like effect hence the name of the Serum
